Ghost Town

I took this shot at three o'clock this afternoon in the centre of Galashiels. Four empty shops in a street that always used to be busy with pedestrians and shoppers. I half expected to see some tumbleweed blowing down the street. We have lost so many car parking spaces with the closure of two car parks and loss of lots of on street parking due to all the "improvements" that are taking place in the town that I believe the motoring public are being forced out of the town centre and into the retail parks. The town centre will soon be empty altogether!

Rant over, I apologise as ever for my lack of comments on journals, just not enough hours in the day.
