Orchardhill Parish Church

I think this is one of the most attractive buildings in Giffnock. The architectural style is something I really like. It was built around 1900 and had extensions added prior to WWI and again prior to WWII. My blip of it does it no justice whatsoever.

It was a dismal day weather wise and I was busy, so it wasn't until around 7pm this evening when I was walking back from my final meeting of the day that I got the chance to think blip thoughts. This church sprang immediately to mind as a possible blip, but it wasn't lit and the surrounding orange streetlights defeated my attempts to photograph it, especially as I was trying to do it hand held. In the end making it mono was the best I could come up with.
