A week with the NHS

I took this photo early this morning at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The loch and extensive woods with newly created walk ways are available for staff, patients, visitors and the local community as well - pretty impressive.

It's been an interesting week involving both of my in laws- one spending time in hospital, the other in emergency respite care for the first time ever. Happy to say that both are back together this evening and we have all survived ! As is often said, the staff of the NHS were fantastic and couldn't be faulted, even working under massive pressure. Great to see the art work of students from my old department adorning big stretches of corridor too. And finally, the week also saw the demise of my mac - irreparable apparently - which partly explains a serious lack of blips from me. I really don't have an excuse though with an iPad and a phone available for blipping in the house. The question then is do I really need to replace my laptop ??
