Maryhill Burgh Hall

A welcome stop for coffee on a wet and dreary day. This is one of a series of twenty stained glass panels which were part of the Burgh Halls from its opening in 1878 until the early 1960s and are again on show in an accessible place for visitors. This is the Canal Boatman. Amazing detail - perhaps you can see the patch on his trousers!
