Overspill

Went into Staines again this afternoon. need a warm jumper and toiletries for next weeks trip (4 days to go) and decided to walk down to the river. I think it has gone down about about a foot. I hope it recedes quickly for the sake of these residents. Again no tow path visible in either direction.

It was a lovely beautiful morning and I thought I would have a nice 'blue' blip but it turned dull and grey about 2:30 and began to rain a little.

Stores along friends Walk shut due to lack of power because of the flooding. A huge hole in middle of path and engineers pumping out all the water.
