View from the Office

As this is my first entry - I thought it would be best to photograph the place where I spend most of my week at: Gallery of Modern Art. This is the view from one of the office windows.

Most visitors who photograph the iconic Duke of Wellington statue with its traffic cone outside the building don't realise that staff are in those windows, and sometimes we are at those windows...

A new hotel is being built on the left side, where before, it was an ugly 1970's office block for a bank. As you can see it was a bit of a dreicht day - that is Scots for wet / miserable day.
