Rescue Cats of Istanbul - Part 1

Blackie is the surviving family member of a litter that was born in our garden 8 years ago. We had him neutered, give him his yearly shots and feed him each day. He has never been indoors; we supply a small shelter for the winter and a basket in summer. On really cold nights, he finds sanctuary in the underground parking lot in our complex.

At night, I come home, he jumps on my lap and settles in; still a fighter, he is prone to scratch when uneasy. I love him to pieces.

By the way, having cats around provide access to quick "emergency" Blip Photos. I took some shots of a very cool breakfast this morning but erased them all (!) instead of copying them to my computer. User beware :)
