Slight Miss

There was a fabulous "crack 'o doom" sunrise today. I missed the best of it due to feeding the dogs. Anybody else would have said boo to the dogs and grabbed their camera. My dogs are collies however and have me trained to understand their need and compulsion for routine. So. I missed the glorious sunrise by minutes.

I am rubbish at sunrise and sunset shots. They never ever do the scene justice. I think that I need to do some studying on this topic.
