Not the dentist

As I headed down into Twickenham to my dentist appointment, I saw that the light was lovely, but was too short of time to divert via the river. As it turned out, I'd made a mistake and should have been at the dentist yesterday...

Luckily this gave me the time to go down to the river. Apparently it was about an hour from high tide. The river is very full at the moment of course and was already flooding the embankment. The light was fantastic, and there was just a little bit of mist here and there above the water. The residents of Eel Pie Island were having to paddle to get off the bridge. Some of them must be perilously close to being flooded at high tide. I hope they stay dry.
