when i took the kids to school this morning, the temperature gauge in the car read 4C at 7.30am

when i left the house at 9.30am, it read 22C (the car had been sitting under the sun) - it dropped to 13C by the time i came to work

whatever the case, it's 'sun with teeth' (greek saying, meaning that the sun is deceptive)
