Magic things

"The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper." John Keats

Brill lecture on attention and perception tonight, really made me think about how little of what's around us we actually notice. Of course attention is vital otherwise we would get sensory overload.

Which is why a picture paints a thousand words, it captures a moment in time and freezes all the little details we may have otherwise missed.
