The end of the gammon.

Today is the start of my new attempt at posting every day. I have an alarm on my phone which reminds me to take picture. It's kind of obvious that I'm good at ignoring it!

So I have resolved to take pictures when my alarm sounds. Same time every day. We'll see if I can get back into the habit of posting online.

Anyway. I was inspired the other day to cook a gammon joint since K's was so good before Christmas. (Half price in tesco helped me decide to copy her!) So after 3 dinners (D's mum came over to tea) a couple of sandwiches, another 2 dinners, today the remains were put into a pot with a ton of veg and couple of handfuls of lentils and just left to its own devices for a while. The most delicious soup/stew emerged.

Went to put it in the fridge before heading to bed- talk about heat retention, it's too warm to fridge.... several hours after eating it. So I just had a wee drop more!
