I taught Alex how to use a hot glue gun today with a craft that he requested. He did incredibly well with it until I turned my back and he accidentally set it down with the hot tip resting on the back of my hand. My reaction spoke louder than any warnings I may have spoken with words. He now understands just how stinking hot it gets.
