Bill and Katharina Kaliardos
Big day today, and although the wedding was only at 4pm, we hardly had enough time to get ready for it. My sister's new brother-in-law James did our makeup, which of course was an honour and quite exciting for us modern girls (google his name and you will know what I mean), so we looked pretty good by the time we set of for the church. My sister's gown was stunning and her and Bill made a beautiful couple standing up there during the 1-hour Greek orthodox service. Being matron of honour, I had to stand facing the best man (James) the entire time, which meant I got the best view of the couple. After lots of chanting, crossing of rings and crowns and walking round the altar 3 times, they were married. Although we are very sad to see her leave for the US, we are also very happy that she's found herself a soulmate. It was a very special day.
