Eye of Newt!
It was the Recce for the midweek walking group today and i must say was one of the best day's i've had in a long time. Laughter from the start to the finish.. We started with a telling off from a lady who took offence at us parking outside her house, bloody misery! Then a near miss with a gaggle of geese followed by calf high puddles and a quagmire of stinking mud.. Four of us in total, fellow blipper Karen, Kate the leader of the group and Joy one of our fellow walkers with their lovely little dogs.. The poor dogs looking at us as if we had totally lost it, which we had of course!!!
We came across a herd of Deer, magnificent creatures keeping their distance but couldn't take their eyes away from us mad humans circumnavigating their field....
The broomsticks i thought were rather oddly placed in the entrance porch of a lovely village church which we all agreed would be a lovely setting for a funeral.. Is it me or do you not associate broomsticks with witches?
All in all a really funny day and i can't wait to do the walk with all the group next week!
