Moon
Took this with my iPhone placed at the eye piece of my telescope tonight. Shaky shivery hands didn't help. Here's some info.
L47: Alphonsus. In the mid lower right sector is a chain of three craters. From north to south: Ptolemaeus, Alphonsus, Arzachel. There are several ash deposits (dark spots) within Alphonsus (look around the edge). Ejecta from the Imbrium impact basin has cut troughs in the crater wall. The central ridge is probably also due to this ejecta.
