Edinburgh castle looking colourful this evening.

Well at long last my mind seems to have launched into study mode. Just in time for the weekend, too! However, making way for academic energy seems to have pushed some other mental ability out of the window. This morning I left my carefully packed lunch box lying on my bed while I went to work. The good news is I'm a stickler for ice packs and the flat is cool so tomorrow's lunch is already sorted!

This afternoon I had a lovely cuppa catch-up with Zara, which was just enough to keep the usual lull at bay and keep me going for a little while longer. By the time I got to my flat and had my rather peculiar sausage bolognase for dinner (I am still not sure how that one came about) I was just about ready to flop.

However, I decided to go along to the prayer meeting at church this evening as I had missed the others earlier in the week. Admittedly, a chilly flat was a partial motivator for this. I am so very glad I did go and for reasons far beyond the warmth! It is always wonderful to hear of past encouragements and pray for what is ahead in response to those. Lovely, too, to be in a little group with people whom I had not spoken to before and so hopefully some more familiar faces on a Sunday :)

Just in case the sky came alive I had taken my camera along with me. I felt a little silly as it was making my bag rather bulky and there was no sign of anything happening above but nevermind. The castle made up for it and I managed a quick shot before my bus arrived at the stop.
