First Quarter

Took this photo this afternoon at about 3pm. I love the moon during the day!

Excited at the prospect of an aurora Mr Lif and I donned our togs and headed up the hill. Nada...zilch...nothing! But that same old moon lighted our way and gave us moon shadows. No need for torches.

Yes, I know, we should have gone out later but we got excited and we have to work tomorrow so we thought why not :). One thing I learned is that my precious baby is no good for that type of night time shot so I currently have the DSLR on charge, just in case ;)

Most probably I will just warm up with a wee glass of wine. Mr Lif isn't keen to head out again. Apparently we need to go to Iceland instead. I have taken this as a kind of promise ;)
