Colouring hearts

Last Saturday we had a hairy visitor in our house, Lucky the Jack Russell Terrier from the shelter in Tiel. It was a great day, but we had to take him back at the end of the day, so he could have surgery on his teeth on Tuesday. Éowyn didn't understand why he could not stay and had to wait another week for us to pick him up. Together we drew seven hearts on a big piece of paper, one for each night we have to wait to pick up Lucky. Every day she colours one heart and now she knows that when she has coloured them all, Lucky will come live with us!!! We almost can't wait ourselves!!!
