The Blanket Saga

Before Christmas I purchased a blanket online. It was dispatched on 17th December. They attempted delivery two days later but I was at work. Oh well, I thought, I'll stay at home tomorrow. I did. All day. And the next two days (including Christmas Eve). No delivery, not even a sniff of a courier. When service resumed after Christmas I waited in for a further two days. No sign of a delivery courier or card through the door. Plenty of stressed phone calls to the seller, asking what was going on. After 10 apparent attempts the courier gave up and the item was apparently sent back to the warehouse. In the meantime I saw that the blanket was now in the sale so bought it again (with a discount for my inconvenience - thank you Anthropologie!) and it arrived today. Thank goodness I think it's rather lovely. The original purchase is somewhere in the ether so I now await a refund. The saga continues...
Moral of the story - never have anything delivered by H****s (in case I get sued!). They apparently don't exist.
