Sunrise

Walking to work this morning was a real pleasure. A dry morning after all the rain. A calm sea after stormy floods. Passing Skeoch Woods, I stopped to listen to a woodpecker carving out breakfast. And as I passed the sailing club, watched the sun rising from behind Canada Hill.
Mornings like this, I don't miss the car.
