A belated birthday portrait...

... it was Pippa's 11th birthday yesterday (today is Gulliver's birthday, Pippa is only one day older!). Although we did celebrate a little (she did receive her presents), yesterday's funeral service had too much of an impact on all of us. I initially assumed Pippa would not want to come to this service, but this little wise one said that she would have another birthday next year, but that her friend would not ever more have the opportunity to celebrate that with her dad. She wanted to come to the service and pay her respect.
