Monument in the morning

There was a gorgeous sunrise this morning and I never managed to get a shot of it as I was late getting to work. Firstly there was the unexpected de-icing of the car to contend with then a phone call from my other half to say the road was very slippy and didn't appear to have been gritted so a slow, careful journey. Resurfacing works in the middle with a convoy system, sat for more than 10 minutes with neither side moving (they must have been doing something at that point) and so never had time to photograph the lovely pink tinged hills that I saw :-( ........perhaps tomorrow.

I decided on the Wallace monument today as I decided against it yesterday.
