Long reining

These are the 2 Irish Cobs that live on the project with us. They belong to Pat - the twinkly eyed farmer, who is long reining them here. He's training them to work on our farm and as of today,I'm trying to help him. The horses are a cheeky pair who been left a bit too free in their field and they need a few more manners put on them. Apparently that's were I might come in. Having offered advise I now have put my money where my mouth is! I'm used to the posher more leisure end of horse work - a menage, area, school, corral , happy hacking etc. Right now its me, Pat, the horses and a very wet, lumpy field. Watch this space.....
