Waiting for the ball

Popped in to introduce Misty to a collie friend this morning. Am trying to get her used to meeting new people and dogs. After her usual timid greeting she was soon running around the garden chasing the other two collies who were running after the ball. Am really hoping that she'll eventually discover what fun she can have with a ball but think it will take a bit of time. Misty has met three new people and their dogs today but I wonder why she greeted the third person with a pug by barking at them. Could it be that they had the sun behind them and she was dazzled :) She really didn't want anything to do with them! That's the first time she's barked at somebody, it was quite embarrassing :)

I really like this image as it shows three different types of collies. That's what I like about collies, they are all so different. I was looking at a friend's collie calendar last week which has a collie for each day of the year which highlights just how many different types there are.
