Don't Panic Carry On Walking The Chihuahuas!

Last night I had a really nagging pain in my right calf like a pain I've never experienced before, it kept me awake all night, so when I arrived at work and was told you look tired, the nurses insisted that after looking at my calf which was swollen I get myself up to A and E, no messing I was seen asap( the advantages of being staff) my calves got measured and the right one was an inch bigger than the left. They suspected at first it could well be a DVT but I was asked many questions the usual do you smoke "no very anti", did I fall over , was I a power walker( this is because I do have the calves of a dancer!!!) No to all of these I'd just been out on a dog walk and it hurt me when I got home, " do your dogs pull you are they huskies????? Excuse me don't you know us???? So a blood test was in order to rule out a clot, I'm a real needle hater so after going a whiter shade of pale I was given the all clear and told it was a swollen muscle. So the top photo is a view I don't normally see as staff! Of course I would've been happy with my PAT dog wouldn't I? I also went to visit a nursing home today, opposite were I work it was lovely and I would love dad to go there, the food menu is fantastic, not bad a choice of wines with your lunch, and to round it off the manager owns two tiny chis, so I had to mention the crew nothing like name dropping to get yourself in, just to wait for a bed availability now. Roo was very sleepy this morning when I switched my alarm off all tucked up in bed. Tomorrow kangas in for her op wish her luck and wish the vets luck too,,,
