Reflected glory

There wasn't much of a sunset in the west tonight but this was the view east! It was a stunning sky, even through the trees on our eastern boundary. It lasted just a few minutes, and then suddenly it was gone. This is straight from the camera, no enhancing.
Earlier in the week I talked about the level of the water table. There is now water in the bottom of our marl pit which means the water table is the highest it has been for about five years. I'm sure it will rise further until it is blippable.
