Seated figure

Back at Tate Modern today to have a look at another floor.

Not quite so enamoured with the permanent collection although I was intrigued by Mira Schendel's graphic work paintings and mono prints. I felt I'd have got a lot more out of the show if I read German. She was a follower of the philosopher Hermann Schmitz and his work on perception, the distinction between the lived in body/Leibl and the physical body/korper.
