Useless Cigar Cutter

My 19 years old birthday present was designed from a crack propagation test specimen. The cigar should be put in the lower hole and the specimen is then pressed down. A fixed cutting blade seen in the hole takes care of the rest.

This gadget is now useless because I have smoked only a few cigars since then.
