Bread spread with smiles.

This is my wonderful local bakery. (see large to get the detail)

It is a co-operative which produces 15 distinct types of bread, pizza, cakes and chocolate at various nearby locations, including this bakery itself, so you can often buy hot bread, straight out of the oven.

The people who work here have a secret weapon for success, they are always good humoured.

The ever smiling, chap in the picture practices his English on me. He has a natural talent for it.

The young woman quietly works at the till, as she answers the phone and deals with suppliers, simultaneously, yet she always finds time to put your shopping in the bag and SMILE.

I love the sign on the till which says that bread, once bought, can't be returned and exchanged for something else.

What a difference a smile makes. I'll try to remember this, the next time I have the hump.
