Alternate plans

Had intended to go up to town to the pictures but when we got to the barriers we realised the wave action* was a bit mad. The police were taking groups across in convoy in between the worst waves but we decided we didn't really need to risk life and limb to see a movie.

Instead we popped in to see a friend and sat and chatted over a coffee or two whilst the lego boys solved design challenges.

* this is the term used for great big lumps of water crashing up over the causeways.
