Ticking off the Summer List of Fun

My housemate and I went for an afternoon/evening trip up to Waipu Cove for a surf followed by Pizza Barn (which was on our Summer List of Fun, so we can tick that off, yay!). Borrowed my other housemate's old board, and managed to stand up a few times. I was so shocked that I promptly fell off, but still, not bad for only my second time surfing, eh? And not on a soft-top either. (Yes, I'm disproportionately proud of myself.)
