A Winning Baby

I couldn't decide what to add to my journal today. There were two alternatives ~

1...Drops of rain glistening and glowing as they dripped from the leaves of the port wine magnolia bush. The heat-wave has ended, finally! The humidity is lingering but the heat isn't too bad at all now. A very joyous occasion to share.

2...When the Butcher Bird arrived this morning for breakfast, who should she bring with her but her baby! I haven't ever, in all the time that I've been feeding the Butcher Birds, had a baby bird asking for food before, so this was monumental.

As you can see, the Butcher Bird won.
