Kalanchoe...

I was working in Glasgow again today, but was tied up all day in meetings so didn't get the chance to go out and wander. I was getting ready to finish up for the evening when ES phoned to say he'd finished his work early so did I fancy going out for dinner? I was delighted! By the time I got home, D's meeting had finished so we all went out and the 3 of us had a lovely unexpected mid week meal out. A lovely treat!
This little kalanchoe stood in as an emergency Blip! It was a gift from a friend. Kalanchoe are also known as "Devil's backbone", "Mother of Millions" and the "Chandelier plant". It is also highly poisonous... all parts of it are generally considered toxic.... I wonder if my friend knew that when she chose it for me????
