Chandelier v shade 8/365

Today was a very quick tourist day in London Town. Absolute fail on the iPhone battery maintenance today so limited photos captured, annoyingly.

Pictured is from the Savoy Grill restaurant at the Savoy Hotel, The Strand (taken on a kindly loaned iPhone from a dear friend). A spur of the moment decision to indulge in the lavishness of this beautiful old London hotel. So wish I had more time to wander and appreciate this beautifully restored landmark. However, the countdown clock is on for the return to Oz and a slow train back to the seaside was calling.

The only other decent pic I had managed to catch today was of the London Eye, proudly reflecting blue lights across the Thames and surrounding buildings. Blip buddy and lifelong bestie had graciously allowed me to publish the London Eye picture that we both captured in a race to the best Blip today. Sorry, dcomp, I thought these sparkles deserved some of the special limelight!

The big question is when does a shade become a chandelier? These huge sparkly numbers were clearly in the shape of a shade, but do the dripping jewels make this a chandelier? Answers on a postcard or just below for curiosity's sake. Thank you!
