Blackfriars West

Taking a slightly different route out of London this evening my train stopped at Blackfriars station. Not the first time I've been through it recently but strangely it is one of my favourite stops.

Not sure what it looks like during the day, but as the latest incarnation of the station sit on Blackfriars Bridge you get great views up and down the river, especially at night.

This photo does not do the views justice but I really like how the blue hues from the station mood like lighting reflects the steel and glass construction so well.
