Bread

New toy alert!

I have purchased a bread maker. When I read something on the yukky ingredients in supermarket bread I felt a bit queasy. Ground up chicken feathers and the like to make it last longer....I mean.....seriously? Are we that desperate for convenience?

Anyway...back to the more enjoyable things like making my own bread. I have made bread by hand in the past (ok mostly kneading in the Kenwood) but it's such a time consuming task. Not so long ago I forgot about some dough and left it rising for a whole day (bit messy it had escaped the bowl by the time I remembered). So now I'm trying this.

Here is my first loaf to share with you all, bit wonky but ok for a first attempt.
