Spectacular Spiral Seed-pods

Pete was sorting through his seeds today before making an order from a catalogue ready for this year's growing season. I found an unmarked bag and discovered these!

We collected them, I remember, on a holiday in Turkey in 2012. They caught our eye whilst we were sitting having a pre-dinner drink on a balcony overlooking the pool. Can't remember what the plant was like, this was possibly all that remained!

They are the size of large peas and they rattle, obviously full of seeds which he will plant at hopefully the right time. Will keep a reminder somewhere to blip what they turn into, something as spectacular maybe?!
