And all of a sudden today it was dark and I had not given a moments thought to taking any photos. So, another Christmas present, but there is a good reason for showing you this, it is a bloody brilliant recipe book. It comes from this website. I have made the lemon bars and the broccoli slaw so far, both lovely and it is a v good read all round.

Poor Daisy came home from school with a migraine after being sick. She went straight to bed and slept until 6. She was as white as a sheet and asked for a boiled egg and soldiers for tea - her no 1 comfort food and favourite tea when she was a toddler. And that's about it. Rest of day = work, work, school pick ups, work, tea, domestic director jobs, blip. Now the second Bridge from Saturday and bed......
