Gray-hooded Sierra-Finch

This colourful bird is the Comesebo Andino (Phrygilus gayi) – in English known as the Gray-hooded Sierra-Finch. There were plenty around in the woods today as I went for a walk in the forest near Bariloche. Beautiful day and lovely to walk in the forest and to hear all the birds.
