Waterworld no. 4 Road Closed

The waters continue to rise, although more slowly now. Two inches since last night, but will keep rising until the weekend. My house is fine, although it might start affecting electricity and drains soon, however my friends have just an inch or so to go before water enters the house so for them this is very dramatic.

The road closure barrier had gradually moved up the road as the flooding has spread and now this barrier is closing off the end of our road.

We are surrounded in our own little island…long may we stay afloat.
