The Axe

River Axe that is :-)

This was taken just outside the village of Whitford near Axminster. The water level has actually dropped since the weekend but as you can see it's still looking quite deep.

The road was actually shown as closed when I took the photo but rules are meant to be broken from time to time aren't they? ;-) besides, the road wasn't flooded!
