out without a battery

Lovely walk up at Stone Barrow this morning whilst there was a break from the rain,
Epic fail though as my camera ran out of battery after only 15 photos and my spare one despite charging last night refused to work. Disappointed as saw some good photo opportunities but still pleased I caught this rare sight....blue sky!
Does anyone please have any tips on polarising filters? Want to try some new techniques :)
