Came across a Ruby-Crowned Kinglet (Regulus calendula) preening this morning at Arcata Marsh, which made for dazzling views of that famous yet elusive flaming head. He never gave me the shot, but a number of them are fun, perhaps more so in sequence. I've blipped this species twice before, in 2012 and 2013.
