Nearly a sunny interval

The weather forecast has a big sun on it for today. This is as much as we saw of it.

There was a Mistle Thrush singing from a tree top behind me when I took this shot. It was incredible how far the song carried and how long it took to walk towards and locate this bird. Marvelous views of Kestrels hunting nearby.
