Orange coloured sky

This orange coloured sky that greated me this morning. This was taken at about 8.45 am and I was surprised to see all the street lights were already off seeing as it was still quite dark.The rest of the day has been rather overcast, not really doing much at all, abit like me. I had no motivation to do much today.
Phoned my Dad to see how he got on at the hospital yesterday as he had to go in for his latest bladder cancer treatment. It's a BCG wash that goes straight into the bladder, doctors are unsure how it works but it seems that it triggers the immune system to get rid of any cancerous cells. Luckily there are no side effects so far so hoping this continues. Dad has 5 more treatments every Monday, then a break and a further run of treatment and then a gap of three months so hopefully my Mum and Dad will be able to come up then.

Other good news is that a friend of mine has become a Grandma for the first time. I'm thrilled as she will make a fantastic Grandma and her husband will be a super Grandad.

Heard about an article saying that children should nt be made to kiss their Grannies but give them a high five or wave instead. Crazy idea are we all supposed to deprive ourselves of any contact because it may be seen as inappropriate.

Off to cook the gammon for dinner now, comfort food if that's allowed lol :)
