St John's, Smith Square
Decent weather at lunchtime today so I was able to get out of the office for a 20 min walk. Getting the blood circulating at lunchtime definitely makes me more productive in the afternoon.
Today, I wandered aimlessly and found myself in Smith Square. Smith Square used to be famous as the home of both Labour and Conservative Party HQs, on opposite sides, though neither is there now.
Dominating the square is St John's: built as a church but now a celebrated concert hall with a decent restaurant in its basement. I come here from time to time for lunch or to enjoy a concert but today I'm just passing through.
