Late afternoon

This blip is for all to enjoy, but especially my blip friends who are so cold and affected by wild weather. Today was another perfect day. I picked salad greens for an early afternoon meal for two. It is happy to share good fortune. Seeds fly everywhere like mites in a frenzy when I pluck leaves from deep in the forest of stands of parsley in my garden left to go crazy.

I wanted it wild. Hidden by the parsley in this viewpoint is a stand of thyme and another of sage and both seeding and flowering. White radish further back again out of view has thrown out from main trunk branches elegant foliage that 'weeps' and small flowers and a stand of silverbeet is collapsing open bowed down by being left to age. The silverbeet is laden with seeds and florets. Strawberries display a suggestion of red fruit through sprawling weeds. I am producing little other than seeds. I had hoped for better. Still there remains that this great wildness is this dream come true the salad is free of insecticides and chemical weed control. I have recalled it so often awake I may dream tonight in my sleep of a mist of bright sunshine and seeds flying in it like spray.
