County Courthouse Elevator.

This ornate elevator is in the old and elegant El Paso County Courthouse 1903. It is now a museum which exhibits American Indian cultures, western exploration, early settlers who built homes, business and communities at the foot of Pikes Peak in the Rocky Mountains, among other things. The museum also provides lectures and other educational opportunities. We went up in this lovely old elevator (or Lift!) to see the restored Court House and sat on the benches where many people must have waited for various reasons. This was my favourite picture but as for the first time since I've been a blipper, I forgot to bring my camera and borrowed my daughter's. On another note, I'm still waiting for my suitcase to turn up before I have to leave again. I am getting a bit agitated now. Luckily no valuables in it.
