The end

Back to reality with a bite today after a luxurious 2 weeks of festive indulgence.

I wasn't planning to, but BB insisted on 'light!' when we came home at tea-time.

Looking at the illuminated tree one last time before the lights finally go off at bedtime allows for reflection on a turbulent year that ended surrounded by nearest and dearest, and a chance to look forward to the year ahead with new resolve. Not quite an epiphany but you could say I've seen the light in more ways than one.
